Production Process

1. Initial Contact & Quotation
   Please contact us via email or WeChat for text-based communication. We will provide you with a cost estimate based on the total number of episodes and overall duration of the short drama. The expected delivery timeline is approximately 3 weeks.

2. Data Sharing & Main Cast Demo Preparation
   Please share the Japanese subtitle data (SRT file) for all episodes as well as the original video files. Additionally, provide candidate profiles for the main voice actors (approximately 4 to 5 candidates in total) and 1–2 sample episodes for demo audio preparation. We will deliver the demo audio within 2 to 3 days for your selection. If you do not provide main candidates, ActOne can handle the selection of the main voice actors entirely. Once the main cast is selected, the ActOne team will take charge of casting for all supporting roles.

3. Script Review & Translation Revision
   After receiving the data, we will thoroughly review the script and revise the translation to adjust it to dubbing-friendly expressions. Simultaneously, we will prepare the script for voice actor recording. For example, for a project comprising 90 episodes with a total runtime of 130 minutes, this stage typically requires about 7 to 10 days.

4. Voice Actor Assignment & Recording Pre-scheduling
   Based on the main cast selected by the client, we will determine the complete voice acting lineup. We will share the revised dubbing script and video files with all the actors and schedule the recording sessions in our dedicated studio. Typically, the recording for all actors is completed within 7 to 10 days from data sharing.

5. On-site Recording in a Dedicated Studio
   Formal recording takes place in our dedicated studio, where the director oversees the process to ensure overall balance and performance. To achieve the natural consistency of Japanese dubbing, we typically record 3 to 4 actors simultaneously, ensuring coordinated performances and further enhancing the overall quality.

6. Audio Post-Production Editing & Mixing
   After recording, we perform detailed audio editing and mixing, meticulously adjusting volume differences and mitigating noise interference to deliver high-quality, clear sound. This stage generally takes 3 to 5 days.

7. Final Product Delivery & Client Review
   Each episode is delivered as a final Japanese audio file (in WAV format) along with the revised dubbing subtitle data (SRT file). We allocate 3 to 5 days for client review and revisions until final delivery is confirmed.
